Monday

Andrew and Kelly

On Sunday we photographed the wedding of Andrew and Kelly at the Potters Heron Hotel at Ampfield near Romsey and we were delighted that the weather stayed dry and reasonably bright for most of the day.

To start the day Kelly left her house on a beautiful carriage driven by two wonderful horses for the 6 mile journey to Ampfield.

We then had a great day with several breaks to do some fantastic portraiture with Andrew and Kelly with the horses at the local forestry commision as well as some around the hotel with Keirney.

The guests ( and us ) had a great time with the chocolate fountain as of course did Andrew and Kelly.

All in all everybody had a great day.

Sunday

Danny and Laura

Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Danny and Laura in Selbourne hampshire and had a fantastic day and despite the lack of sunshine there was plenty of warmth and happiness amongst the guests to go around.

We started the day at St Mary's, Selbournes beautiful church where Laura arrived looking amazing in a Horse and Carriage and then we drove to the Rose and Crown at Farringdon in a 1950's double decker which was pretty cool.

The reception at the Rose and Crown was wonderful and the staff made it a trully memorable day for everybody.

Everybody had a wonderful time and the celebrations went on into the night Long after Devon ( there wonderful Son ) fell asleep on Grandads lap.

Taunton's Prom

On Friday we spent the evening photographing the Taunton College Prom at the Devere in southampton. This was our second year covering there prom and it was great to see some old faces as well as lots of new faces. The prom was very well attended with around 200 people as well as a handful of very brave teaching and support staff.

Sue & I enjoyed working with Taunton's .

Tuesday

Casey and Jackie

On Saturday we photographed the wonderful wedding of Casey and Jackie at Stanstead house and then onto the Spreadeagle hotel in Midhurst. Both fantastic venues to shoot at and both a first for
Sue & I although we were familiar with both venues which helped us to make the most of the day.

The day started out dry but soon the rain came and things were looking grim, that was until we arrived at Jackie's Parents house and we saw our bride ! She looked radiant and lifted our spirits which led us to have a wonderful day spent dodging showers.

We were blessed once again with enough time to grab a few formals and some fun outside. Jim the Bestman who was a great help but refused to let me drive his vintage Jaguar !! whats that all about ? We had great Ushers and Bridemaid's as well which helped the day run smoothly.

When we arrived at the SpreadEagle hotel we were very well looked after by wonderful staff and soon Joined by a great pianistAndrew who kept us all entertained until the evening began.

All in all it was a perfect day for a perfect couple.

Jules.

Sunday

Justin and Liz

Yesterday Sue & I photographed the wedding of Justin and Liz at Cain Manor which is a very nice venue with some wonderful architecture and beautiful grounds.

The day started off drizzling but Liz was determined not to let that bother her which I must say delighted Sue and I, a few moments after starting we had the first of 4 power cuts but again Liz and Justin were determined not to let it bother them, As it happened this all led to a wonderful feeling amongst the guests and a fantastic wedding day, The staff were fantastic ( very fast with the candles ) and Justin and Liz had wonderful guests so all in all we had a brilliant day.

We took some great photographs both indoor and out and when we left at 7pm everybody was preparing for a great night partying.

Here are a few photographs from the day, I will add more over the weekend but we are still processing :)
